SULLIVAN RENAISSANCE MERCHANT DISCOUNT PROGRAM

Local Businesses Support the Work of Community Volunteers who are Building Beautiful, Healthy, Active Communities in Sullivan County

January 29, 2018

LOCAL BUSINESSES - have a unique opportunity to support beautification projects throughout Sullivan County by joining in a Merchant Discount Program organized by Sullivan Renaissance and the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce.

When businesses participate in the Merchant Discount Program they are helping volunteer groups purchase and source supplies for local Renaissance projects.  By keeping those dollars in Sullivan County, community exposure and engagement is expanded.

How it works: Businesses set the savings amounts – typically 10% to 20% or more – and are given a list of grant participants.  Project leaders from around the county are given special cards to identify that the items they are purchasing will be used for Renaissance projects.  Discount providers are publicized in flyers, news releases, and on the Sullivan Renaissance website www.sullivanrenaissance.org.

Sullivan Renaissance offers grants to community groups for beautification, community development, multicultural outreach, and healthy community initiatives. Grant amounts range depending on the program and project.  Sullivan Renaissance invites you to help these dollars go farther in this effort; while at the same time encouraging local spending.

To register for the program, contact Kathleen Capozzoli at Sullivan Renaissance at 845-295-2452 or kcapozzoli@sullivanrenaissance.org.  Businesses need not be Chamber members to participate.  Anyone interested in joining the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce can contact Cathy Paty at 845-791-4200 or office@catskill.com.
