Sullivan Renaissance invites you to attend a Volunteer Open House on Wednesday, March 7 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the CVI Building, 165 Sullivan Avenue in Ferndale, NY. (Refreshments will be served and each guest will be entered into a door prize drawing).
The public is welcome to learn more about endless opportunities that utilize individual skills to enhance a grassroots effort to beautify Sullivan County.
“If you are interested in volunteering, we are here to help you find a way to get involved,” says Anne-Louise Scandariato, Sullivan Renaissance Volunteer Outreach Manager. “Each volunteer's efforts directly impacts a project's success in communities throughout Sullivan County.”
Sullivan Renaissance Volunteer Corps and staff will be on hand to speak with attendees towards and share information on youth internships, Sullivan Renaissance initiatives, gardening workshops, and beautification seminars. Browse past projects to see the difference being made in your community. Share your ideas for beautification projects and what special skills you could lend to the community at large.
Pre-registration is requested. To register, visit SullivanRenaissance.org or call the Sullivan Renaissance office at 845-295-2445. Event details can also be found on the Sullivan Renaissance Facebook and Twitter pages (@sullivanrenaissance).
