PAID SUMMER INTERNS NEEDED

Sullivan Renaissance Has Opportunities in 25 Communities

April 16, 2007

[FERNDALE] – Paid summer interns are needed in 25 communities around Sullivan County as part of the Sullivan Renaissance beautification and community pride program.  Participants must be at least 16 years old.

The internship is a gardening experience with one of the Sullivan Renaissance projects.  All interns will be enrolled as Sullivan County employees and will participate in a gardening seminar as well as additional training.  Interns are paid for work performed between June 1 and September 3.

The application is due on Friday, April 20.  Copies are available at www.sullivanrenaissance.org – in the area titled “How to participate” – or by calling the Sullivan Renaissance office at 845-295-2445.

The internship program is collaboration among Sullivan Renaissance, Sullivan County Center for Workforce Development and Sullivan County BOCES Natural Resources Program.

Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Beaverkill Foundation and the Gerry Foundation.
