Sullivan 180 to Host Health Benefits of Open Space

Planning and zoning board training credits offered

[LIBERTY, NY] Sullivan 180 will host “The Health Benefits of Open Space” on Wednesday, December 6th at 6 PM via Zoom. Municipal planning and zoning board members will receive 1 training credit hour for attending. 

Shannon Cilento, Sullivan 180 Community Development and Communications Manager, will discuss the important relationship between health and open space. Participants will learn about resources and opportunities for improving access and inclusion in parks and public spaces.

“Planning, Zoning and Town Board members have the power to positively influence the health of their community. Improving access to parks, nature and open space provides immense benefits to human health outcomes and should be a priority of every municipality,” said Cilento.
