Sullivan O&W Rail Trail Alliance Announces 2nd Annual HO&WL

Celebrate the spooky season with a Halloween trail walk

[PARSKVILLE] - Come out and celebrate the spooky October nights at the 2nd annual HO&WL Halloween Trail Walk on Friday, October 27th from 5:30 to 6:30 PM on the Parksville segment of the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail, meeting at the trailhead at Cabernet Frank’s, 38 Main Street, Parksville. Wear your best costumes and bring your leashed dog and the whole family for a walk.

“The Town of Liberty is excited to be the host for another GREAT O&W Rail Trail event…the annual HO&WL along a beautiful section of the trail in Parksville,” said Town of Liberty Supervisor Frank DeMayo. “Come and join us as we stroll the trail corridor and, be on the lookout for unique creatures trolling the trails under the full moon!”

“The HO&WL is an excellent opportunity to explore the Parksville section of the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail, meet other trail users and get you, your dog and your family out for a fun autumn evening walk,” says Shannon Cilento of Sullivan 180, a member of the Sullivan O&W Rail Trail Alliance.

The following day, come back for the Parksville Halloween Parade at 1 PM on Main Street. Post-parade festivities will occur at New Memories, 864 Parksville Rd.

A reminder to please bring supplies to clean up after your pup. Visit the event Facebook page or call (845) 807-0531 for more information.
